{"id":17334,"date":"2024-10-31T22:12:31","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T21:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.univ-djelfa.dz\/ar\/?page_id=17334"},"modified":"2025-11-05T22:19:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T21:19:36","slug":"lmd-system","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.univ-djelfa.dz\/?page_id=17334","title":{"rendered":"LMD System"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<link href=\"https:\/\/fonts.googleapis.com\/css2?family=Cairo:wght@400;600&#038;display=swap\" rel=\"stylesheet\">\n\n<div style=\"font-family:'Cairo',sans-serif; background:#fdecee; color:#2e3548; padding:30px;\">\n  <div style=\"max-width:900px; margin:auto; background:#fff; padding:25px; border-radius:10px; border:1px solid #f4c6ca;\">\n\n    <h2 style=\"text-align:center; color:#b3122f; margin-bottom:10px;\">\ud83d\udcd8 The L.M.D System<\/h2>\n    <p style=\"text-align:center; font-weight:600; margin-bottom:20px;\">Bachelor &#8211; Master &#8211; Doctorate<\/p>\n\n    <p style=\"text-align:justify; line-height:1.9;\">\n      The L.M.D system is a new structure of higher education in Algeria,\n      based on three degrees: <strong>L<\/strong> for Licence (Bachelor), <strong>M<\/strong> for Master, and <strong>D<\/strong> for Doctorate.\n      It has been implemented in Algeria since September 2004.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h3 style=\"color:#b3122f; margin-top:25px;\">\ud83d\udcda Basic Concepts<\/h3>\n    <ul style=\"line-height:1.9; padding-left:20px;\">\n      <li><strong>Semester:<\/strong> a teaching period lasting an average of 14 weeks.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Field:<\/strong> a field of study divided into branches, and each branch into specializations.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Branch:<\/strong> a part of the field defining a specific type of training.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Specialization:<\/strong> a subdivision of the branch determining the learning path and the skills to be acquired.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Teaching Unit (TU):<\/strong> composed of one or more subjects (lectures, tutorials, practical work).<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <h3 style=\"color:#b3122f; margin-top:25px;\">\u2696\ufe0f Coefficients and Credits<\/h3>\n    <ul style=\"line-height:1.9; padding-left:20px;\">\n      <li><strong>Coefficients:<\/strong> measure the importance of a subject within a given teaching unit.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Credits:<\/strong> represent the workload required to master the knowledge in a teaching unit.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Credit Acquisition:<\/strong> obtained after successfully validating a subject or teaching unit.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Credit Transfer:<\/strong> possible to another training path if approved by the pedagogical team concerned.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p style=\"text-align:justify; line-height:1.9; margin-top:10px;\">\n      Each semester consists of <strong>30 credits<\/strong>.
