Real-world decision-making situations involve the simultaneous consideration of coupled conflicting objectives. Decision making is of great importance for organizational strategy and play an important role in increasing the competitiveness in many industries. Although the majority of decision problems that companies face are multi-criteria, they get better at decision making when using methods and tools to improve performances in the areas of technical diagnosis, improved production, commercial ... etc. These methods apply to both technical and managerial levels. In this context, and in order to foster University-Industry links for a Sustainable Partnership, we offer a workshop dedicated exclusively to policy makers, engineers and production staff. The workshop will provide operational methodology and approach of many tools to make effective decisions regardless of the industrial area and the situation.

The scope of the workshop is to provide attendees from engineering fields with the latest decision tools developments. The workshop is of interest to decision makers and heads of structures in technical or management in general and where the decision based on a single criterion is not sufficient.
