UNESCO Prize for Global Citizenship Education

    In response to a letter from the Assistant Director of University Cooperation and Research Programs, I have the honor to inform you that the National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture has sent us the application form (attached) for the first edition of the UNESCO Prize for Global Citizenship Education, supported by the Republic of Korea.
 
This prize aims to recognize initiatives, both formal and non-formal, that prepare younger generations for responsible and active citizenship, notably throug
-Promoting intercultural exchanges
Student participation in public life
Digital citizenship education. Two winners will be recognized: A youth-led organization, An individual, institution, or non-governmental organization actively engaged in this field. Each winner will receive a prize of USD 50,000. As such, each institution is invited to nominate a single candidate, submitting an application including: A detailed CV; A description of the completed project, in line with the prize theme.
