About the Conference

The 3rd edition of the National Conference and Workshop OSFS-Meca2026 builds upon the continued success of prior editions dedicated to Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) applied to Mechanical Engineering. The conference will take place on November 25–26, 2026 at the University of Ziane Yachour, Djelfa, Algeria.

• OSFSD-2022: 1st Scientific Day — University of Tissemsilt in partnership with LMA-USTO Oran.
• OSFS-Meca 2023: 1st National Conference — University of Tissemsilt.
• FOSS-2024: 2nd Scientific Day — University of Mascara.
• OSFS-Meca 2024: 2nd National Conference — University of Mostaganem.

The main objective of OSFS-Meca2026 is to provide a premier scientific platform for researchers, academicians, and industry engineers to showcase state-of-the-art open-source solvers, numerical algorithms, and practical engineering solutions.
