The 1st National Conference organized under the theme: The Reality of Teaching and Learning the Arabic Language in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Prospects
Scientific Preamble of the Conference
The Arabic language is one of the most important and richest human languages in terms of cultural heritage and eloquence. It is distinguished by unique syntactic, semantic, and morphological characteristics that give it a solid structure and great clarity of expression.
However, this reality is currently undergoing an accelerated digital transformation and growing technological development. This necessitates adapting to new advancements and leveraging modern technologies, chief among which are artificial intelligence applications, to strengthen its cognitive and scientific leadership.

The problem statement of this conference revolves around the nature of the interaction between the Arabic language and next-generation artificial intelligence technologies, from which the following fundamental questions arise:
First Question
How has artificial intelligence contributed to the development and structuring of the Arabic language teaching system for both native and non-native speakers?
Second Question
What are the main pedagogical challenges, as well as the technical opportunities and prospects offered by integrating Natural Language Processing (NLP) to serve the Arabic language?
Strategic Objectives
- Demonstrate the benefits of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into improving Arabic language skills.
- Highlight the real impact of digital transformation on the effectiveness of educational and pedagogical curricula.
- Identify the pedagogical and technical difficulties faced by both teachers and learners, and anticipate solutions.
- Open partnership prospects between researchers in linguistics and engineers in computer science and intelligent systems.
